FRONT ROYAL, VIRGINIA, December 2, 2019 — Per the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen (BRS) Constitution, the General Chairmen and Grand Executive Council gathered and elected Tim M. Tarrant as Vice President Headquarters of the BRS to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the previous Vice President Headquarters, Kelly A. Haley.

Brother Tarrant assumes the Vice President Headquarters after serving as the Organization’s Vice President East. Following his appointment as a Grand Lodge Representative in 2011, he was appointed Director of Research April 2018, he then was elected to the office of Vice President East since October 2018.

The body also elected Doug R. VanderJagt to the position of Vice President East, filling the vacancy created by Brother Tarrant’s election. Brother VanderJagt was serving as the Organization’s Director of Research prior to his election to Vice President East. Brother Vanderjagt was appointed as a Grand Lodge Representative in January 2019; were he served as Director of Research until his election.

Kurt Mullins was appointed as Director of Research to fill the vacancy created by Brother VanderJagt’s election. Brother Mullins was appointed to the position of Grand Lodge Representative in February 2019.
